We pastors are the chief disciple-maker of our church. Jesus is our example and he shared what he learned from His Father. Study John 5 and 17 and we discover Jesus shared and did what He heard the Father say and what He saw the Father do.

To make disciples of Jesus we want to grow at our listening and watchfulness of the Father. The Daily Transformation Life Journal is a simple tool to help you spend time with God not as “Pastor” but as His “son.”

The first two habits help you cultivate your intimacy and understanding of God and His ways. It is working on God as your “First Love” as in Revelation 2:4. The last two habits help you work on sharing Jesus outside the pulpit and your office with your daily world and then discipling those new believers through weekly fellowship one-on-one or in a small group.

These latter habits are “First Things” (Revelation 2:5) that are the fruit of abiding in Christ (John 15).
